The Hobble is inspired by a device which attaches to
the fore legs of a horse. This was used by drovers to
limit their horses roaming at night while they camped.
To create the handle we worked with an accomplished
Australian artisan who plaited this beautiful piece,
made from kangaroo leather. The cow hide used is
pure aniline, with a contemporary rustic appearance.
This is enhanced with age & wear to exhibit a beautiful
patina. Hand stitching detail.
